2008-2009 Village Roadway Project

The village roadway has been repaved and expanded. The North (Moriches Bay side) side of Dune Road now has a shoulder area which is only be open to pedestrians.  No longer will walkers, joggers, people with strollers, etc. have to squeeze between passing cars.  The road also now has a center double yellow solid line indicating NO PASSING.  Every effort has been made to keep the vehicle speeds down.
